I'm a sucker for a good font. I hate most of the fonts that come installed on Microsoft programs...especially Papyrus. (and don't even get me started on Comic Sans!) I'm always searching for new fonts and have loved using different ones on my weekly bumpdate photos.
Sooo today I wanted to share some of my favorite free fonts, beginning with just your basic type fonts.The next two posts will be script and decorative fonts. These were all downloaded for free off of various websites and I've tried to site them all. Are there any basic fonts you love that I don't have on this list? Is anyone else as font-obsessed as me?
I love cool fonts too. How do you download and use them? I am clueless.
ReplyDeleteI love new fonts as well!! I use them for birth announcements, etc for my photography! I haven't figured out how to put them in blogger though!!! Damn!! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteAs a graphic designer it makes me beyond happy that you don't like papyrus or comic sans! It drives me crazy when I see these fonts being used since they are laughable in the design community. My background on my desktop at work is a poster that says "Comic Sans is never an acceptable font. Unless you are an 8 year old girl writing a poem about unicorns." Fonts are so fun and there are so many great free ones out there. I like Bebas Neue for a good bold, headline font!

I love fun fonts!! You should try out PicMonkey.com. It's a free picture editing website and they have really fun and different fonts!
