WILW

It's time for WILW again! Since we were out of town at World Changers with the Youth last week, I'm going to double up on this week's post!

I love these two chairs! I wish I could find something like this for our house! So fun!

I love the idea of using these as wall deco. If we ever have a girl, I would totally use these in a nursery!

Love these DIY bracelets! Planning on getting my crafting on soon!

Love this infinity arm candy too!

LOVE this outfit!! I want it!

Love this idea again for a girl's nursery. (no, I'm not preggo..just cute ideas!)

More bangle love! Love this turquoise!

I love that I just ordered this book and it just shipped! It looks like a really interesting read!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! It is my all-time favorite! And I love that Sara just started reading it! It is HIGHLY recommended! Kelly Ginn, have you read this??
(P.S.-Check out Sara's page - She makes adorable baby/toddler clothes and all kinds of crafts too! Like her page!)

Last, but NOT LEAST, I LOVE this group of teenagers! We have had the best year and a half with them possible and are going to miss not seeing them every Sunday & Wednesday...but we are still planning on seeing them as much as possible! It's about time for another girls night at our house!

Life Lately...

We have had such a busy past few weeks! It's been the kind of "busy" that we like though. We have been fortunate enough to go out of town several times with family and with our youth! Here's what's been going on---

June 9-16 Panama City Beach with the Kassner's

Days 1-6 Bocce ball, bocce ball, and more bocce ball!

The Kassner men

Day 4 Deep Sea Fishing (8-hour trip)

Jeana and I snoozing--What I did most of the day! My body wasn't made for deep sea fishing! It was a great experience though and I'm glad I can say that I've been before!

The Kassner's - minus Mrs. Angie

Will's big catch of the day!

I did get up long enough to catch a Red Snapper!

Captain Anderson's marina

Catch of the day

Day 5 Parasailing

June 23 World Changers Work/Prep Day

World Changers asks that before your project, you participate in a prep day to get everyone ready for what's to come. We went to The Grove and repainted a deck and flipped & cleaned over 300 mattresses to prepare for their next group of campers.

Some hard-working teenagers!

The mattress-flipping team

After working all day, we got to go down the new slides at The Grove

Photo of the day!

June 25-29 MERGE Missions Camp

Will took our middle schoolers from Faith Arlington to MERGE at First Baptist Millington. They worked with Memphis Athletic Ministries and helped put on sports camps during the day for inner-city kids. Unfortunately, some kind of huge stomach virus broke out and they ended up closing the camp on Wednesday and sending everyone home. Will ended up getting home at 2am Thursday. I was paranoid for a few days that I was going to catch whatever was spreading throughout the camp! Luckily neither one of us did!

June 28 Lady Antebellum concert at Snowden Grove

Sara's mom gave her VIP tickets to see Lady A and I got to go! It was such a FUN concert!!

Me and my bff :) It was so hottttt outside!

July 1 Fireworks at Buckhead

Since we aren't ever at Faith Bartlett anymore, we love going to the Buckhead fireworks every year to catch up with everyone!

July 2-7 Myrtle Beach with the Magness'

Originally, we didn't think we were going to be able to go on this trip with my family because of work and church, but it worked out! We ended up driving to Atlanta that Monday night and spending the night and finishing the 2nd half of the 12-hour drive on Tuesday. We surprised my family on the beach around lunch that day!

4th of July boat parade at Murrell's Inlet

Colly Wolly

The whole fam!

4th of July on the beach was so amazing!!

July 9-14 World Changers, St. Louis

World Changers provides national and international youth work projects. During projects, students typically spend one week repairing damaged homes. During our week at St. Louis, the students re-roofed homes, built decks, put up siding, painted, and built community gardens. It is such a great experience. Will and I had both been on World Changers before as participants (Alaska, Canada, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Maryville), but this was our first time going as youth leaders. Our lives were just as impacted going as leaders...if not more! We love these kids!

Day 1 The Great Send-Off!

Just one photo of how hard everyone worked all week!

Before we came back to Memphis, we went to Six Flags to have some more fun! We were all exhausted, but it was a great time!

Just some of our group in the wave pool

Will was sick all day at Six Flags :( We think he was really dehydrated. This was him sleeping outside of the waterpark at Six Flags. Poor Will

Whew, that was a LONG post! We've made so many memories this summer and it's not even over yet! We'll be going whitewater rafting in a few weeks with the youth and we're looking forward to it!

Happy Tuesday!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

It's time to start a new bloggy tradition... What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I've been encouraged by Kelly to start these blog posts. I always love her Wednesday posts so hopefully mine will be half as interesting as hers! Here it goes...

I love Kelly's blog! I have to give her credit again for inspiring me to even start a blog and for WILW! Go check out and follow her super cute bloggy blog!

I love that today is the 4th of July! It's such a fun holiday and I'm so glad Will & I got to come to the beach to spend time with family!

I love Will's new LifeProof case for his phone. We've had so much fun taking underwater pictures!

I love my new swimsuit top. It has parrots on it! Will said it reminds him of Brazil so you know anything that makes me think of being back there makes me so happy!

I love these two sketches. I'm a big doodler so this just makes want to gather up all my pens and doodle for hours!

I love love LOVE this porch bed! Doesn't it make you want to curl up and read on a rainy day?! And the great thing is, we have a porch big enough for this! Hmm...I see a project in our future!

I love this satchel! Turquoise is a favorite!

I'm really SUPER loving this photo shoot! How fun?! Hmm...maybe I can convince Kelly Ginn Photography to do something awesome like this for Will & I! ;)

Well, there it is! My first WILW post! Hope you enjoyed! Happy 4th to you all and a special thank you to those serving our country!
